PLA Booster Club Membership

Many of the activities and projects at PLAS are supported heavily by the Sports Boosters from funds generated completely outside the school’s General Fund Budget. Virtually all boys and girls sports receive monies from the Sports Boosters to purchase items such as uniforms and equipment. The Booster also fund the cost of officials, utilities, travel expenses, renovation, facility improvement etc.  We want to continue to build on a fine tradition of PLAS sports and academics. By joining the Sports Boosters and using our group buying power, we can lower the cost per student for equipment, uniforms and many other items. Every Patriot student and family will benefit.

I have attached a pre-fillable membership form for your convenience. Once again we have three options for supporting to the Booster Club. Individual / Family Membership is $35.00. Family passes to all to all regular season Patriot athletic events for immediate family members living under one roof is $175.00. The Patriot Club which is both membership to the Booster Club and Family Passes is $200.00.  Please complete the attached form and bring it along with a check made payable to the "PLA Sports Boosters" to tomorrow night's foundation meeting or simply drop it off in the school's office.

Labor Day Boston Butt Sale

Upon the announcement of his hiring, Coach Ponder said, "It is such an honor to take over a program with such great tradition. The fact that Pike is in the mix for a state title year in and year out is a testament to the outstanding job that Coach Butch Austin has done over the years. It will be impossible to fill his shoes, but I look forward to the opportunity to coach the same great group of young men that had the privilege of learning from a legend. PLAS Spring Softball Clinic

The Softball team will be hosting a Spring Softball clinic for any athletes in grades K-6. Please see the flyer and registration form here. This is a great opportunity for the Pike Softball programs to continue to develop our K-6th grade athletes and give them the tools they need for success. If your daughter is playing for recreational softball this spring, this will be a great way to get started for her season. It will also allow our young players to get an understanding of fundamental skills in hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, and baserunning. If your daughter is interested in playing softball, they should be in attendance.

Pre-Registration due Friday, February 7th. Mail forms and payment to:
Pike Liberal Arts School, Attention: Coach Park
P.O. Box 329, Troy, AL 36081

If you have any questions, please contact Coach Allie Park: apark@pikelib.com
