Please note the ​JV Baseball Schedule for the week beginning, Monday, February 29th:

• ​Monday: Double Header at ​Edgewood ​beginning at 3:30. The first game will be ​a traditional ​JV ​game ​and the second will be a 7th and 8th grade game. 
• Tuesday​: Single Game at Escambia ​
• ​Thursday​: Double Header at Macon East​ beginning at 4:00​. ​The first game will be ​a traditional ​JV ​game ​and the second will be a 7th and 8th grade game. 

Good Luck to the PIKE Tennis Team in their opening match of the season which is set for this afternoon at 3:30 against the Glenwood Gators. PIKE will host this match at the tennis complex located on the campus of Troy University.

Please note that the game times for this week's Pepsi Classic hosted by John T. Morgan Academy in Selma  have changed for PIKE's baseball team (only):

Thursday, February 25th:

• PIKE v Jackson Academy will begin at 10:00 am
• PIKE v John T. Morgan Academy will begin at noon

Friday, February 26th:

• PIKE v Bessemer Academy will begin at 10:00 am
• PIKE v Edgewood Academy will begin at 2:00 pm

This change will allow enough time for all coaches, players, parents and fans to return to Troy in time for the Talking Turkey with the Turkey Man Fundraiser which is set to begin at 6:30.

2016 Elton Reece Pepsi Classic

​Please note the following change to the baseball / softball schedule: 

​Due to the fact that ​Fort Dale could not get officials on ​Tuesday March 8th, we will now ​travel to ​Greenville ​on Tuesday​ (February 23rd)​ for a ​varsity-only​​ double header​. ​Fort Dale will make the return trip to ​Troy on ​Tuesday March​ 8th​ for a full slate of varsity and JV games.​ 

PIKE's JV softball team will play in this weekend's tournament hosted by Macon East. PIKE will play three games on Saturday:

• PIKE v Marengo at 10:30 am
• PIKE v Glenwood at 1:00 pm
• PIKE v Northside Methodist at 3:30 pm.

2016 PIKE Baseball and Softball schedule  posters are available for pickup in the school office. These posters will also be available at the admisssion gate for all home games (while supplies last)

PIKE's baseball and softball teams will travel to Eufaula tomorrow to take on the Lakeside Chiefs in a full slate of JV and varsity games. Tomorrow's action will begin with the varsity games (baseball and softball) at 3:30 and will be followed by the JV games. ‪#‎GoPIKE‬

PIKE's baseball and softball teams are set to host the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors in a full slate of varsity and JV games later today. The action will begin at 3:30 with varsity baseball and JV softball. The JV softball game is set for 5 innings and / or a 75 minute time limit.

Please join in congratulating PIKE's Marquese Christian and Re'gine Parker for being named to the AISA 3A All-Star Team. Marquese and Re'gine will represent the AISA West Team in a game played on February 19th at 6:00 pm on the campus of Huntington College in Montgomery.

Today's baseball and softball games against Lee Scott have been moved to Friday as Lee Scott's boys basketball team is playing for a state championship later today. Friday's games will begin at 4:30. Varsity baseball and JV softball will start things off and will be followed by JV baseball and varsity softball.

Coach Rollan has set a softball-workday for tomorrow (February 6th) at 9:00 am. 

We need to complete the following softball projects:

1. Zip tie the backstop
2. Put up the red pad
3. Zip tie the dug out nets​ 
4. ​​Pressure wash the brick walls of the dugout and walls
5. Move the bleachers​ 
6. Cut and weed eat the field
7. Put up the green privacy fence on the outfield fence​ 
8. ​​Re-due the plate and the pitching rubber
9. Zip tie the batting cage​ 
10. Paint Pike Patriots on the front of the dugouts (we have stencils that match the back of the dugouts) 
11. Check out the sound system
12. ​Clean and stock the concession stand
13. Clean and stock the restrooms (possibly repaint the floor)

Coach Ponder and Coach Valdez have set a baseball workday for this Sunday afternoon (February 7th)  beginning at 1:30. In addition to the construction of the 350 Club's deck, there are a couple of smaller projects that will need attention too. ​A list will be posted at or before Sunday's baseball cleanup.
