REMINDER: Steve Stubblefield from Townhouse Photography will be on campus on Monday, August 1st to take pictures for the football program. Seniors athletes (ONLY) should be dressed in their uniform and at the electronic sign by 5:30 for the cover picture(s). Paid ads and all team / individual pictures will start at 6:30 on the football field. We will begin with paid advertising pictures and once complete move immediately into the team and individual pictures.

The following teams and all coaches / sponsors need to be dressed in their uniform at the stadium by 6:30:

  1. Varsity Cheer
  2. Varsity Football
  3. Junior Varsity Cheer
  4. Junior Varsity Football
  5. Varsity Volleyball
  6. Junior Varsity Volleyball
  7. Tennis Team
  8. Pep Band
  9. Dance Team
This is always a big undertaking. We have taken steps to avoid some of the chaos from years past. All students should remain with their respective groups to avoid unnecessary delays. We have several students participating in multiple sports but the order above should allow time for them to change in or out of their uniform.

Please note that the Booster Club is hosting work days for the Saturdays leading to the beginning of the school year (July 30th and August 6th) . The following areas need our attention.  Please email Coach Allen if you cannot attend one of these dates but would like to claim ownership over a specific item listed below:

The Stadium:
  1. The area outside the softball fence to the football practice field and up the hill to the stadium needs cutting with a bush-hog
  2. Coach Allen has cut the fence line, under the bleachers and most of the hill this past Saturday. The hills may need trimming again but Coach Allen took care of the heavy lifting.
  3. The sidewalks need edging.
  4. Please bring your pressure washers as the sidewalks and concourse area as well as the home and visitors bleachers are in need of cleaning.
  5. Reattach a portion of the shed that was blown out by a summer storm
  6. Re-position the state championship signs blown down by a summer storm.
  7. The concession stand needs a deep cleaning
  8. The press box needs cleaning as well. I believe there is a vacuum in the PIKE Coaches' box.
  9. The field house / equipment trailer need organizing.
  10. Drag the football field and school parking lots.
The Gym:
  1. The gym needs cleaning. This includes the foyer, the concession stand, under the bleachers and both boys and girls locker rooms. Please bring cleaning supplies if you plan on participating in the gym cleanup.
  2. Repaint the boys' and touch up the girls' locker room floor
  3. Change blown light bulbs in foyer, locker rooms, weight rooms etc.
  4. We also need to touch up the blue stripe along the wall containing the coaches' offices as the basketball chairs left marks. We also need to paint Coach Allen's door with the same blue paint.
