Patriots pick up victory

 



Pike Liberal Arts picked up a quality win Friday night as the knocked off Springwood School on the road, 58-48. Springwood returned all five starters from its AISA Final Four team a year ago. Leading the Patriots was Chandler Avant with 20 points and five rebounds. Taylor Adams and Stewart Pinckard followed with nine points each. Adams collected eight rebounds while Pinckard chipped in with six. Tanner Free scored seven points in the victory and hauled in 15 boards. Pike improves to 1-3 on the season and will take on Northside Methodist in Dothan Saturday.
