Congratulations to PIKE's Susie Stell on capturing her third consecutive individual Alabama Independent School Association State Golf Championship. This year's tournament was played in Greenville at the Cambrian Ridge Golf Course. Not only did Susie top all other females in the tournament but with a score of 176 she placed in the Top 25 overall meaning she bested nearly 50 of her male counterparts.
SIGNING DAY: PIKE's Ryan Johnson signed a scholarship to attend and play golf Faulkner State this fall.
PIKE's golf team qualified for the state tournament at yesterday's match held at the Troy Country Club. The team posted a collective score of 354. Senior, Ryan Johnson posted the lowest round for PIKE with a 71, which placed him in a tie for first place among the 75 golfers that participated. Also, Susie Stell, our defending state champion, once again led all female golfers. She bested her closest competitor by 21 strokes.
