2018 Peewee Football

Attention all boys in grades 4th-6th grades that are playing peewee football: there will be a 3 day agility camp on Thursday July 26th ~ Monday July 30th ~Tuesday July 31st. This camp will begin at 5:30 on the softball field and will conclude at 7:00 each day. During this camp, players will NOT wear helmets just cleats. Also, please hydrate well beforehand.

SAVE THE DATE: Program Pictures

Steve Stubblefield from Townhouse Photography will be on campus on Monday July 30th to take pictures for the football program. 

• Seniors athletes (ONLY) should be dressed in their uniform by 5:30 for the cover picture(s). 
• Paid ads and all team / individual pictures will start at 6:00 on the football field. 

We will begin with paid advertising pictures and once complete move immediately into the team and individual pictures.

2018 - 2019 Sports Boosters' Membership Form

Many of the activities and projects at PIKE are supported heavily by the Sports Boosters from funds generated completely outside the school’s General Fund Budget. Virtually all boys and girls sports receive monies from the Sports Boosters to purchase items such as uniforms and equipment. The Booster also fund the cost of officials, utilities, travel expenses, renovation, facility improvement etc.  We want to continue to build on a fine tradition of sports and academics. By joining the Sports Boosters and using our group buying power, we can lower the cost per student for equipment, uniforms and many other items. Every Patriot student and family will benefit.

The Booster Club's Annual Kickoff Meeting is set for Tuesday, August 14th at 6:00 pm in the school's cafetorium. This meeting is mandatory for the parents of all peewee, JV and varsity football players and cheerleaders, as well as those playing JV and varsity volleyball.

AISA / UCA Cheer Camp: 07/09 - 07/12/2018

Our JV and Varsity Cheer Squads will compete at next week's AISA / UCA Camp at Huntington College beginning on Monday July 9th through Thursday, July 12th. Demo Day will be TOMORROW (Sunday July ​8th) at ​3:00 in the school cafetorium. The cheerleaders and their coaches invite all friends and family to come out to see the routines that we are taking to camp.

Emmy Stevens will compete for AISA All-Star on Monday afternoon at 2:15. Competition Day will begin at 8:30 am on Thursday. Please note that start times do typically run early, so anyone attending on should plan to be ahead of schedule. Admission is $5.00 for adults and students both of these days.  All competitions will be held in the Huntington Gym.

Baseball and Softball Clinic

Coach Ponder and Coach Rollan are hosting a summer Baseball/Softball Clinic which will provide instruction for all boys and girls in grades K-6th grade. This clinic will be held on Monday, June 11th, Tuesday, June 12th, and Wednesday, June 13th. from 10:00 am until noon. Cost of the clinic equals $40.00 for each participant which includes your free admission to the 2019 season opener against Abbeville on February 14th. Baseball / Softball Senior Festivities

Pike Liberal Arts will honor its senior baseball and softball players at tomorrow's varsity games against The Edgewood Wildcats. Senior festivities for baseball will begin at 3:45 with the varsity game set to begin at 4:00. PIKE's JV baseball team will not play tomorrow as Edgewood will begin play in the JV State Invitational on Thursday morning.  Senior festivities for softball will begin after the completion of the varsity game and prior to the start of the JV game. Please note that the varsity softball game will begin at 3:30 with the JV game to follow.

Please make plans to attend in appreciation of how well these student athletes have represented our school during this baseball and softball season.

The tennis team will host Northside Methodist on Monday, March 5th in a region contest. The tennis team will travel to Greenville on Thursday, March 8th to take on Fort Dale. Both of this week's matches begin at 3:00 pm.

Golf

PIKE's golf team travels to the Greenville Country Club on Tuesday, March 6th for a match hosted by Fort Dale.The golf team travels to Bagby State Park on Thursday, March 8h for a match hosted by Lakeside. 

Baseball / Softball

PIKE's softball teams will return to action on Tuesday, March 7th with road games against Macon East Academy.

This Week in Pike Patriot Athletics: 02/26/2018 - 03/03/2018

Tennis

The tennis team is set to host Lee-Scott on Monday, February 26th and Fort Dale on Tuesday, February 27th.  The tennis team will also complete its match against Morgan on Tuesday. Please recall that this match was postponed due to weather on February 12th. Tennis finishes its week with a JV match against Crenshaw in Luverne on Thursday, March 1st. All tennis matches this week will begin at 3:00 pm.

Softball

PIKE's softball team begins its week with an area game against Northside Methodist in Dothan on Tuesday, February 27th. The varsity game will begin at 2:00 pm with the JV game to follow. Please note that the start time has been moved up since Northside does not have lights. 

The softball teams will then host Emmanuel on Thursday, March 1st. Softball will begin with the JV game at 3:30. The varsity game will follow shortly upon the conclusion / time limit of the JV game.

The varsity softball team will participate in this weekend's tournament hosted by Monroe Academy.

Golf

PIKE's golf team opens the 2018 season on Thursday March 1st in a match hosted by Macon East at Arrowhead Country Club in Montgomery.

Baseball

PIKE's baseball teams will return to action on Thursday, March 1st in a doubleheader against Emmanuel and Marianna (FL). The varsity will play game #1 against Emmanuel at 3:00 pm. This game will be followed by a JV game against the ECS Warriors. The varsity will return to face the MHS Bulldogs in game #2 of the doubleheader at approximately 6:30.

The varsity baseball team will participate in this weekend's tournament hosted by Monroe Academy. The brackets to this tournament will be released on Monday.

Meet the Patriots Rally: Baseball / Softball

Even though we anticipate playing basketball beyond Thursday's quarterfinal round, make plans to attend a fun day of baseball and softball on Saturday, February 3rd.

The day will begin at 11:00 as the baseball team hosts a hit-a-thon.The hit-a-thon consists of 5 pitches to each player. Each of the five hits will be measured in feet. The teams have been soliciting sponsorship per foot on each pitch that is hit. The distance of each pitch will be multiplied by their sponsorship amount for each pitch, and then totaled for the 5 pitches to calculate total sponsorship.

At noon the softball team will play their parents in an exhibition game.

The day will conclude at 2:00 pm with "Meet the Patriots". All four teams will be announced.
