Changes to Baseball/Softball Schedule

Please note the changes that have been made to the Baseball /Softball Schedule as to the start time for the Lee-Scott game on February 23 and the location of the Glenwood game on February 26.  These have been updated on the online schedule.

JV and Varsity Cheerleading Info for 2013-14

A mandatory parent meeting concerning JV and Varsity Cheerleading try-outs will be held on Tuesday, January 22, at 5:30 pm, in the PLAS Cafetorium.  Essential paperwork will be distributed and time and financial commitments will be discussed.  Please call Angie Grice at 205-789-6218 if you have any questions.

Pike Liberal Arts wins AISA Class AAA baseball state championship

MONTGOEMRY – Trailing 10-1, Pike Liberal Arts scored 14 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take the lead. The Patriots would hold on to defeat Tuscaloosa Academy, 15-10, in the Alabama Independent School Association Class AAA baseball state championship series (originally published on TROY MESSENGER website... http://www.troymessenger.com/ ).

Patriots have chance to erase past

What do the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots and the Texas Rangers have in common? Both have lost the last two championship series.

Texas lost to the San Francisco Giants in 2010 then the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011. The Patriots have fallen to Glenwood School the past two seasons.

Great teams lose championships, it happens. But they also find a way to win them.

To this point, Pike has put some very good teams on the field but has failed to win the big one. Great teams win the big one.....
